Ganged Up On: How the US immigration system penalises and fails to protect Central American minors who are trafficked for criminal activity by gangs

This article addresses the failures of United States immigration system to protect Central American minors who were trafficked for exploitation in criminal activities by gangs. In particular, it focuses on ways which US denies humanitarian protection forced participate activity Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and 18th Street gangs, instead detains them. The will examine this trend context a larger proclivity criminalise US, particularly fleeing violence America. We draw upon our experience representing their applications relief highlight how fails vulnerable population penalises these children own victimisation.
